A twist on the classic hot toddy recipe using all the citrus from Christmas. A much needed punch and vitamins for the cold months ahead.
1 peel of lemon zest and juice of one lemon
1 tablespoon of runny honey
A shot or two of brandy, whisky or rum
The Twist – Ingredients
juice of an orange/clementine/blood ornage
Spices – 2/3 cloves, a stick of cinnamon or a pinch of turmeric
1/2 teaspoon of Earl on the Moor
220ml freshly drawn and filtered water, boiled
Brew the tea for 3/4 minutes.
Place all the other ingredients in a jug.
Pour the strained tea into the jug and stir to dissolve the honey and drink
